Gordon (Gordy) John Herman, 96, of New Hope passed away August 30, 2023 at his home.
Graveside rites were held at Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Staples.
He was born March 21, 1927 to John and Louise Herman in Staples.
He is survived by one son, Randy (Linda) Herman; one daughter, Cheryl Benkofske; son-in-law, Lee Ganz; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles (Fern) and many family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel; one son, Dennis; one daughter, Marlynn Ganz; one sister, Lola Halverson; three brothers, Edward “Bud”, LeRoy and Dale and one grandson, Connor Benkofske.
