Hazel Marie Knudson, 87, passed away peacefully at Lakewood Health Care Center, Staples on May 12, 2020 from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease.
Hazel was born in Grand Rapids on May 29, 1932, to Elmer and Lois Martinson. She married Kenneth Knudson, a Korean War Veteran, in 1950 in Grand Rapids. The couple lived in Texas before settling in Arizona. They were involved in the Lutheran Church and Happy Trails community in Arizona.
Hazel is survived by three sons, Ron, Jeff and Doug; one daughter, Sharon and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ken and two sons, Mike and David.
