Jeanette Nelson

Jeanette “Jan” Nelson, 86, of Brainerd, passed away October 23, 2017, at Bethany Good Samaritan Society, Brainerd.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 p.m. Oct. 28 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Daniel Weiske officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

Burial will be in Baxter  City Cemetery.

Arrangements are with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd.

Jan was born November 17, 1930 in Todd County to Frank and Evelyn (Smith) Macho.

Jan is survived by two daughters, Karen (Leon) Winterowd and Barb (Mike) Villwock; two sons, Jeff (Annette) Anderson and Steven (Wendy) Anderson; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon Nelson; parents; two brothers, LeRoy and Dale Macho; two sisters, LaVerne Hagenson and Darlene Macho; and Derald Anderson.
