Jeffrey Hedberg

“Jeff put up a great fight, but ended up losing his battle to cancer, he was a strong competitor, but cancer was stronger.”

Jeffrey Mark Hedberg, 62, of Staples, passed away at the Essentia - St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Brainerd on September 11, 2024.

In Jeff’s honor, wear your Viking’s gear Friday, October 11, at 11 a.m. to the gathering of Family and Friends to be held at the Taylor Funeral Home in Staples. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the gathering followed by a reception. 

Jeff was born March 25, 1962 to Hartley and Alice (Olson) Hedberg in St. Paul. He married Suzanne (Bauske) Wyman on June 7, 1996.

Jeff enjoyed going to the lake, spending time with family and friends, was a huge Vikings fan and was good at shooting pool. 

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 28 years, Suzanne; mother; four children, Nick Hedberg, Sarah (Max) Oetting, Ron (Kandi Kubu) Wyman and Melissa Wyman; one brother, Scott Hedberg and 10 grandchildren, Jaden, Shyla, Kaylee, Callie, Chelsey, Cassandra, Jazzlyn, Kameron, Xander and Tyler; parents-in-law, Lloyd and  Gerri Bauske; one brother-in-law, Brian (Shelly) Bauske; one sister-in-law, Bonnie (Dale) Mielke and nieces and nephews.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father; one sister, Kim Bohen and several aunts and uncles.

Arrangements are by the Taylor Funeral Home, Staples.
