Jenna Bartylla

Jenna Kaye Bartylla, 34, of Brainerd was welcomed into the Kingdom by her loving mother on January 10, 2020.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sat., Jan. 25,  at 3: p.m.  at Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services and with lunch to follow.

Jenna was born September 6, 1985 to Bruce and Joni Bartylla in Anoka. She enjoyed a childhood filled with boating, swimming and bonfires. Her sister, Kara, was her best friend and they shared a bond only sisters  understand. After graduating from Park Rapids Area High School, Jenna loved spending time at the lake and learned kayaking.  

When she became a mom, nothing meant more to her than spending time with her children, Kaelyn, Khloe, Kennedy and Karson. She loved sharing her passion for Blue Lake and was happiest when they were together there. She enjoyed crafts, movies and family game nights. Jenna adored her children and tried to make every day beautiful and priceless. Her sparkling personality and adventurous spirit will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.  

Jenna is survived by four children, Kaelyn, Khloe, Kennedy and Karson Van Norman; other mother, Brenda Johnson; father, Bruce Bartylla; sister, Kara (Michael, Lili) Lawhorn; grandparents, Arlene and Sherman Swanson; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jenna is preceded in death by her mother, Joni Kaye Johnson; grandparents, Barney and Marge Johnson; grandfather, Gilbert Bartylla and great-grandmother, Viola Smith.
