Judith Farber
Judy Farber, 74, of Browerville, passed away November 12, 2017, surrounded by her family.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Lincoln Evangelical Free Church.
Judith Ann Farber was born August 2, 1943 in Bertha to Ardeen and Vera (Thompson) Goligowski. Judy graduated from Staples High School in 1961 and Bemidji State University in 1993, Summa Cum Laude. She worked different jobs in the area including a social worker for TCC, until she retired.
Judy married Gary Farber on April 28, 1962. They were married for 55 years and lived in the Browerville area. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her favorite spot was on the porch with Gary, every evening, watching birds and wildlife. She enjoyed making quilts, baking, reading and growing flowers.
Judy is survived by her husband; one daughter, Connie (Jon) Balbach, of Bemidji; one son, Terry (Sharon) Farber, of Browerville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; mother; three brothers; Robert (Audrey) Goligowski of Champlain, Steve (Nancy) Goligowski of Voss, TX and Loren (Merrilee) Goligowski of White Bear Lake; two sisters; Peggy (Sonny) Freyholtz of Hewitt, Kathryn (Richard) Motl of Staples, and her dog Tika.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
The family requests no flowers or plants.
