Kelly Decker
Kelly Decker, 50, of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Services for Kelly will be held Saturday, September 5, at 3:00 p.m. at the Free Methodist Church in Motley. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.
A Celebration of Kelly’s Life will be held Sunday, September 27, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Pavilion #3 at Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, 9750 Egret Blvd., Coon Rapids. (Please note a $7 vehicle entrance fee applies).
Kelly was born August 8, 1976, in Brainerd. She attended school in Brainerd until her family moved to Motley. She graduated from Staples-Motley High School in 1995. Shortly after graduation, she moved to the Coon Rapids area, where she met her soulmate for life and best friend, Steve. The two were married on August 16, 2003, and built a wonderful life together.
Her career included sales at Stylelite Studios, team lead at Showdown Displays, and most recently, a dispatcher at Copart. She was blessed to have co-workers who also became her close friends.
Kelly loved getting together with family and friends for bonfires, drinks and pontoon rides. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, entertaining, watching movies, cooking shows, listening to country music and attending concerts. She had a blast bowling with her league teammates, “The Pin Ups”, and was a passionate Minnesota Vikings fan who loved hosting football parties - Skol.
Above all, she loved her family and devoted her heart to their boys, Dylan and Devin. She adored her little dog, Wade.
Kelly will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Steve; two sons, Dylan and Devin; her mother, Debbie Greig; seven siblings, Trevor (Patti) Banks, Paul (Stephanie) Kozitka, John (Bryn) Greig, Jill (Digger) Derner, Dave Greig, Jeanna Greig, Adam (Sandy) Greig; her father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Barb Decker; one brother-in-law, Phil (Kay) Decker; one sister-in-law, Susie (Steve) Schulte and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and cherished friends who were blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Greig and her grandparents.
