Lance Plattner
Lance Plattner, 39, of Motley, passed away unexpectedly March 29, 2017 at his home from a dissecting aorta hemorrhage.
Services will be held Saturday, April 8, 11 a.m. at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples. Visitation will be held Friday, April 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Brenny Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to services on Saturday.
Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples.
Lance was born September 27, 1977 in Little Falls to Mark and Phyllis (Etzler) Plattner. He attended school in Staples. Lance worked as a mason, a welder and a mechanic. In 2007, he married Amanda Frie. Lance enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing, machining and tinkering and modifying anything he could get his hands on.
He is survived by his parents; grandparents, Junior and Darline Plattner; girlfriend, Leila Cameron of Staples; two brothers, Scott (Ida Lombard) of Motley and Ryan (Sammie) of Staples; one sister, Michelle (Adam) Boyer of Motley; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Bud Etzler and June Etzler.
