Leo Pogreba
Leo Pogreba, 80, of Browerville, passed away December 19, 2020.
Funeral services were held Dec. 28, 2020 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Motley with Fr. Gabriel Walz officiating.
Interment was at St. Isidore’s Catholic Cemetery, Moran Township.
Leo Benjamin was born April 30, 1940, to Leo and Clara (Wagner) Pogreba, Sr. in Moran Township, Todd County. He worked as a machinist until his retirement. Leo enjoyed traveling, especially to South Dakota for prairie dog hunting, wood working, hunting, gardening, driving his Farmall tractor and fishing. Leo was a member of the NRA for many years. He loved looking at the night sky through his telescope.
Leo is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Anthony and John; two nephews, Daniel and Nathan DeBolt and two brothers-in-law, Robert DeBolt and Joe Brawthen.
Leo is survived by his 12 siblings: Roland (Virginia) Pogreba of Staples, Gregory (Judy) Pogreba of Hinckley, Mark (Brenda) Pogreba of Sylvan Shores, Joan DeBolt of Staples, Marlene Brawthen of Staples, Stephen (Janice) Pogreba of Staples, Eunice (Tim) Swanson of Excelsior, Romaine (Maggie) Pogreba of Browerville, Inez Pogreba of Staples, Theresa (Mike) Larson of Arden Hills, Rita (Doug) Ward of Lady Lake, FL, Duane Pogreba of Browerville and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
