Lila Weekley

Lila Rose Weekley, 80, of Staples, passed away October 19, 2021, at CentraCare Health in Long Prairie.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 1 at 11 a.m. at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples with visitation one hour prior to the services.

Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.

Lila was born April 19, 1941, to August and Ethel (Allgver) Pietz in Brainerd. She was united in marriage to Herold Lee Weekley on September 17, 1960 in Elbow Lake. Lila was a homemaker and raised their seven children. She enjoyed flower gardening, Elvis music, Beanie-Babies and spending time with her family, especially around the holidays. Lila will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

She is survived by seven children, Denise (Gary) Rud, Dori (Brian Johnson) Weekley, Stewart (Michelle) Weekley, Deb (Chad) Connell, Brian (Dorothy) Weekley, Howard Weekley and Raymond Weekley; many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. 

Lila was preceded in death by her husband, Harold and her parents. 

Arrangements are by the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
