Lynn Lenk, 76, of Staples, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the Central Todd County Care Center in Clarissa.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, Sept. 28 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples. Visitation will be on Fri., Sept. 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home in Staples and one hour prior to Mass, Saturday at the church.
Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.
Lynn was born on October 2, 1942 in Michigan to James C. and Katherine (Greenwood) Kelly. She married the love of her life, Edward Lenk on February 17, 1962 and together they had six children. They moved to Staples in 1970, where they worked a hobby farm. Lynn owned and operated the Hair Hut and the Wash Shed in Motley. She enjoyed spending her free time in her flower gardens, bowling, fishing, crocheting and quilting. She especially loved her softball team, “Ma’s Boys”. She was a Girl Scout leader and a past president of the VFW Auxilliary.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Ed; three daughters, Michelle Ludovissie of Chaska, Karen Lenk (Bud Peterson) of Williston, ND and Gidget (Kevin) Rustad of Pengilly; two sons, John (Jackie) of Princeton and Scott (Robin) of Staples; one brother, John (Linda) Kelly of Ellsworth, WI; one sister, Sue (Steve) Wilder of Victoria; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Lynn is preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Kathy Nelson.
