Marie Hassler

Marie Hassler, 86, of Brainerd passed away June 26, 2020 at Good Samaritan Village - Bethany in Brainerd.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., July 1, 2020 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Brainerd.

Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Marie was born December 10, 1933, in Staples, to Edward and Caroline (Fussy) Schmitt.

Marie is survived by three children, Michael Hassler, David (Dorothea) Hassler and Elizabeth (Lonnie Caughey) Hassler; two grandchildren, Carrie and Katie Hassler and their mother, Joyce Hassler and one niece, Sandy Schmitt.  

Preceding Marie in death are her parents; brother, James Schmitt; sister-in-law, JoAnn Schmitt  and nephew, Bob Schmitt.

The family is grateful for the kind care given by the staff at Good Samaritan Society - Bethany and Good Samaritan Society - Hospice.
