Michael Lorber

Michael (Mike) Patrick Lorber, 61, of Motley passed away January 11, 2018.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. at the Casino Assembly of God Church, rural Pillager with Pastor Dan Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church.

Michael was born February 6, 1956 to Leo and Grace (Harvey) Lorber and was raised in Motley. He attended Motley Schools and later graduated from the heavy equipment program at Staples Vo-Tech. He married Sandy Peterson on October 18, 1980. He spent his entire life in the area where he worked as a carpenter, cabinet maker and housing designer.

Mike is survived by his wife of 37 years; one son, Jeffery (Tiffany) Lorber; two daughters, Nancy (David) Simon and Jennifer (Douglas) Buscho; two brothers, Steve (Betty)  Lorber and Lou (Martha) Lorber; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and  sister, Diane.
