Randy Vasecka, 66, of Motley, MN passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017, at her home.
Services for Randy will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 6, at the Motley Free Methodist Church in Motley with Pastor Wayne Erickson officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, October 5, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples and one hour prior to services at the church.
Randy was born September 26, 1951 in Savanna, IL to Raymond and Ruby (Munsterman) Taubert. She was united in marriage to Glen Vasecka January 6, 1976 in Anoka. Randy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and she showed that every day. Randy’s love of the Lord and family was obvious to everyone who knew her. She loved her flowerbeds where she would spend hours pruning and weeding - it was her heaven on earth. She would come into the house afterwards with dirt from her toes to her nose. Randy also loved to can tomatoes, especially salsa and canned jellies, jams, apple butter and great barbeque sauce. Randy will be greatly missed and always loved by her family and friends.
Randy is survived by her husband, Glen of Motley; children, Melanie (Chad) White and their children, Devon, Dylan, Carter and Jude of New London, Tasha (Brian) Olds and their children, Chelsea and Reed of Staples, Elizabeth (James) Williams and their children, Dexter, Sam and Rollie of St. Paul, Tami (Greg) Zupon and their children, Jordan and Sydney of Coon Rapids, Jade and Wyatt Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruby and brother, Rollie.
