Richard Seaton
Richard B. Seaton, 74, of Vacaville, CA passed away in his sleep January 7, 2021, after suffering from Parkinson’s Disease and Ischemic Heart Disease.

Rick was born in Alexandria to Ralph and Elizabeth (Zosel) Seaton and raised in Hibbing. After high school, Rick joined the U.S. Navy where he served three tours of duty in Vietnam with the HS-8 unit on board the USS Bennington. In 1969, he was a member of the crew that picked up the Apollo 11 astronauts when they splashed down after their famous moonwalk. Rick and his family enjoyed the outdoors. They spent time hunting, fishing, boating, camping, horseback riding and ATV riding at various national and state parks and at the R Wild Horse Ranch.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Susan, of 42 years. They married at her home in Colorado in 1978; five children, Stacey, Terry (Kelly), Kenny (Christina), Sherry and Brett; two stepchildren, Kathy and Lori (Matt); 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one brother, Eugene (Cindy) of Ohio.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gerald (Lurene).
