Robert DeHoff
Robert (Bobby) Walter DeHoff, 62, passed away September 14, 2016 in Staples.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, with visitation one hour prior to services.
Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples.
Bobby was born on June 23, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia to Charles Virgil and Alice Marie (Rahlf) DeHoff. While his father served in the U.S. Air Force, the family lived in Atlanta, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Finley and Fortuna, ND. Bobby was confirmed while the family was stationed overseas in Crete, Greece. He attended Binford High School, Binford, ND and worked at Sheyenne Tooling, Binford Public Schools and Burlington Northern Railroad. Bobby enjoyed music and being with friends.
He is survived by four sons, Steven Dahl, Valley City, ND, Roy DeHoff, John DeHoff and Derek DeHoff, all of Rochester; his parents, two brothers, David DeHoff, Moorhead and Charlie DeHoff, Binford; four sisters, Laurie (Steve) Fisher and Julie Keller, both of Valley City Tina (John) Rice, Alexandria and Angie (Chad) Sorensen, Larimore, ND; five grandchildren; 17 nieces, nephews; great-nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend, Bonnie Reger.
Bobby is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Margaret DeHoff; maternal grandparents, William and Alice Rahlf; infant sister, Jane Marie and other extended family.
