Robert Larson

Robert William Larson of Arizona, and formerly of Bertha, passed away unexpectedly June 15, 2021, at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California.

Funeral services will be held Sat., August 14 at 11:00 a.m. at the Verndale Methodist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

Interment will be at the Wadena City Cemetery on  August 16, 2021.

Bob was born July 8, 1957, in Bertha to Oliver and Nina (Grow) Larson. Bob owned and operated Larson Farm Service from 1986 to 2000; was a radio Announcer for KWAD and worked as a substitute teacher, along with various other occupations. He was active in the Bertha, Hewitt, Verndale and Wadena areas even after moving to Arizona and will be missed by many throughout the communites.

Bob is survived by one daughter, Jennifer (Alex) Knightt; two grandchildren, Zackary and Zoelle Knight; one brother, Richard (Elsie) Larson; one sister, Beverly (Larson) Prather; girlfriend, Mary Cypher; two step-sons: Justin Lind and Jason Lind; three step-daughter, Lacey (Lind) Fitzgerald, Karen Waldof and Becky (Waldof) Heinz; many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Susan (Larson) Edenloff and brother-in-law, David Edenloff.
