Shirley Lambert

Shirley Ann Lambert, 76, of Verndale, passed away  September 28, 2024.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, at Balsamlund Lutheran Church Cemtery in Aldrich for family and close friends.

Shirley was born on December 10, 1947 to Herman and Florence (Sklenicka) Lambert in Bertha. She graduated from Staples High School and worked as a waitress. After moving to the Twin Cities with three roommates, she worked in payroll at Long Year Company for many years.

Shirley enjoyed movies, watching tv, cooking and trying different recipes. Most importantly, she loved her kitties, Mitzy Kitty and Stretchy (Little Boy).

Shirley is survived by her nieces and nephews, Brenda (Mike) Hebl of Embarrass, Douglas Anderson of Julian, NC and Susan (Rodney) Meier of Babbitt; six great-nieces and nephews, Tyrel (Amber) Hebl, Sarah (Kyle) Lamppa, Jared (DeeDee) Meier, Cierra (Scott) Brelie, Charles (Megan) Anderson and Anthony Anderson; many great-great-nieces and nephews and her loving kitties, Mitzy Kitty and Stretchy (Little Boy).

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Nancy Anderson; one brother, Herbert Lambert and ex-brother-in-law, Ronald Anderson. 

Arrangements are by the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel.
