Steven Robert Dickman, 54, of Staples passed away July 21, 2017 at the St. Cloud Veterans Hospice unit after struggling from cancer.
A memorial/interment service will be held Friday, August 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Staples. A reception will follow at the Yvonne Dickman residece, 49430-305th Ave., Staples. Everyone is welcome to attend and celebrate Steven’s life.
Steven was born in 1963 in Staples to Phillip and Yvonne Dickman. He graduated from Staples High School in 1981. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army serving four years and was discharged in April, 1985. In 1990, Steven moved to North Pole, AK where he resided until July, 2016.
Steven is survived by his mother; one daughter, Sasha Dickman and one son, Joshua Dickman both of San Manuel, AZ; four grandchildren, Rianna Estrada, Sadye Lerma, Javier Lerma and Zane Lerma; four brothers, Duane (Deb) Dickman, Staples, Kevin (Ann) Dickman, Colleyville, TX, Carl Dickman, Danbury, WI, Douglas Dickman, Staples and three sisters, Audrey (Barry) Clough, Cambridge, Darla (Brad) Fraley, Bryon Center, MI and Donna (Dale) Doublestein, Wyoming, MI; 12 nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and great -nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Bruce Dickman and Rodney Dickman.
The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations.
