Timothy Moriarity
Timothy “Tim” Moriarity, 82 of Maple Grove, originally from Staples, passed away peacefully in the hospital April 7, 2020, after several months of declining health.
Private services were held at the Kozlak-Radulovich Maple Grove Chapel with private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Tim was born March 9, 1938 to Arthur and Hollybell Moriarity. He graduated from Staples High School in 1956 with Machinist Training and had a successful career in the Plastics Industry (Tooling/Engineering). He married Patricia Reis. Tim is a veteran and served in the U.S. Navy as a Machinist during the Vietnam War. He was kind, thoughtful, warm and caring and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Tim is survived by one daughter, Andrea; one granddaughter, Chelsea; two sisters, Mary (Neil) Johnson and Patricia (Dan) Gaffaney; one brother, Frank (Marge) Moriarity; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty and his parents.
