Friendly Rider offers free rides
ently awarded a $2,000 grant to help support transportation needs for Staples Motley Summer Rec and Adventures Program. The project was supported by the Staples Motley Area Community Foundation, a Turn Key Partner Fund of the Initiative Foundation.
The grant funding was secured to help working parents, guardians, and grandparents let their children stay active this summer. One of the hardest things for working families is the ability to get their children to their activities during the workday, but now Friendly Rider is able to provide FREE Transportation to all students thanks to this grant. Friendly Rider operates in the city of Staples from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friendly Rider even makes trips to Motley daily in the morning and afternoon.
As a working parent myself, I know how important it is that my children stay active all summer, and this way we can say YES to keeping them involved and active, since Friendly Rider can pick up and drop off your students at home, daycare, Grandma and Grandpa’s, etc., FREE.
If you have any questions about how to get your children signed up for the FREE transportation in Staples, give us a call at 218-631-5730. Our funding goes through August, so let’s get your kids moving!
