Letter to the Editor

It seems in this most unusual election cycle that some folks are still unable to play fair. Playing fair is simply respecting other people’s opinions. It can be compared to good sportsmanship in athletic events.

In our country we still have the freedom to express our  individual rights as long as we are not infringing on other’s rights.

Placement of political signs is done with the consent of the property owner. Those signs should be left in place unless the property owner chooses to remove them at some point.

Trump signs continue to be taken and/or vandalized from many locations. Is that playing fair?

Within a matter of weeks this election cycle will be history. Our hope is that respect and peace will prevail into the future for the sake of our country and all our citizens.
