THOMASTOWN TOWNSHIP NOXIOUS WEED NOTICE

 

Stop the Spread 

of Noxious Weeds

 

Minnesota Statues 

Sections 18.76 to 18.91 

 

All persons owning and occupying land shall control or eradicate all noxious weeds on the land at a time and in a manner ordered by an inspector. It is unlawful for a person to neglect, fail, or refuse to comply. 

Like the rest of the state, Thomastown Township has a “growing” noxious weed problem. Some of the more prominent noxious weeds found in Thomastown Township are:

Spotted Knapweed, Plumeless Thistle, Canada Thistle, Hoary Alyssum

Let’s all do our part to get this under control. Stricter enforcement will be administered.
