LSS Meals hereby solicits sealed bids for meals in Clarissa, MN. Any interested bidder may obtain more information by calling 218-233-7521 or writing to LSS Meals, 3101 S. Frontage Rd. Ste. 100, Moorhead, MN  56560. All proposals for furnishing said meals should be marked as a bid on the envelope and must be received at the above address, no later than 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2021 at which time and place all bidding shall be considered closed. All bids received shall be publicly opened and read aloud. 

The right is reserved by LSS Meals to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any formalities in any bid received or procedure set forth herein and to make the award in the best interest of the project. 

LSS Meals shall have a period of 30 days after said opening to accept or reject said proposed bid.

It is Ordered and Notice is given that on September 27, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at 221 1st Ave. S, Long Prairie, Minnesota, for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of heirship of the Decedent, and for the appointment of Carly Jane Roberts, whose address is 508 North Robert Street, Clarissa, MN 56440 as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an UNSUPERVISED administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate, including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.

Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes Section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION QUOTES

 

The Villard Township (Todd County) Board is accepting quotes on road construction until 5 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2021.  Please send your quotes to the Villard Township Clerk at 31836 Timberlane Road, Staples, MN  56479 Attn:  Mary.

Please send your quote on the following specs:

Prep the road base and tar the surface of 285th Avenue. The road base should be 22 feet wide and two (2) feet of shoulder. Spots where there have been frost boils (3) will need two lifts of asphalt applied to a total of 3” compacted. The Contractor will need to make sure the final road is level to all driveways. OUTLET PETITION – 

SECOND HEARING NOTIFICATION

 

A Public Hearing will be held Tuesday August 31, 2021 at 6 p.m. in the County Board Room at the Historic Courthouse, 215 1st Ave. S, Long Prairie, MN  56347. This Public Hearing is the continuance of the recessed Hearing held June 29, 2021 regarding a Petition that has been submitted by the LSLID requesting to use County Ditch 41 as an outlet for their High-Water Outlet Project. This Hearing will continue where we left off with public comment. All interested landowners are welcome and encouraged to attend this Informational Meeting. Commissioners Becker, Erickson, Neumann, Kneisl, Kircher, Attorney Kurt Deter and CDI Nancy Uhlenkamp will be in attendance for Todd County.  The LSLID representatives, Attorney, and Engineer will be in attendance for the LSLID. The consulting Engineers from Bolton & Menk will also be in attendance. Landowners can join the meeting in the following ways: 

1 - In person at the County Board Room in the Historic Courthouse, 215 1st Ave. S, Long Prairie, MN - COVID restrictions are a concern so we are requesting RSVPs. Please RSVP by noon on August 23, 2021 so we can plan for seating - call 320-533-4651, leave message with names and number attending.

2 - By phone/call-in. 

3 - By Zoom (internet meeting). If you would like to join the meeting via Zoom you will need a computer, internet, microphone, and speakers.
