ORDINANCE NO. 541
ENACTING A LOCAL SALES AND USE TAX IN THE CITY OF STAPLES
AN ORDINANCE to impose a local sales and use tax to provide revenues to pay the costs of collecting and administering the tax to the Commissioner of Revenue of the State of Minnesota and to finance the capital and administrative costs related to the funding to the designated projects as defined by Session Laws 2021, First Special Session, Chapter 14, Article 8, Section 18, and approved by the voters at the November 8, 2022 referendum.
The entire ordinance is available for review on the City’s website at Staples.govoffice.com or at City Hall during regular business hours.
