Notice is given that an application for informal probate of the Decedent’s will dated December 19, 1995 (“Will”), has been filed with the Registrar. The application has been granted.
Notice is also given that the Registrar has informally appointed Jacqueline L. Midthun whose address is 500 Jewell Street, Mora, Minnesota 55051 as personal representative of the Estate of the Decedent. Any heir, devisee or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative. Unless objections are filed with the Court (pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 524.3-607) and the Court otherwise orders, the personal representative has full power to administer the Estate, including, after 30 days from the date of issuance of letters, the power to sell, encumber, lease or distribute real estate.
Any objections to the probate of the Will or appointment of the Personal Representative must be filed with this Court and will be heard by the Court after the filing of an appropriate petition and proper notice of hearing.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes Section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.
A charitable beneficiary may request notice of the probate proceedings be given to the Attorney General pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 501B.41, subdivision 5.

CITY OF MOTLEY
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Motley will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, July 8, at 5:30 p.m, at the city hall located at 316 US-10 S, Motley, MN, to consider revisions to the city’s floodplain ordinance.
This floodplain ordinance would amend the city’s floodplain regulations, which guides development in a manner that complies with state laws and the standards of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and will reference the effective Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS).
All persons(s) desiring to be heard shall be given an opportunity at the above stated time and place. Persons who wish to submit written comments prior to the hearing may address them to the city council and mailed to the address above.

Notice of Public Accuracy Testing
The public is welcome to observe the Public Accuracy Testing of the OmniBallot Assistive Voting Machines for the upcoming State Primary Election.
Testing will be held on June 28, 2024 beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the County Board Room located in the Historic Courthouse at 215 1st Avenue S, Long Prairie, MN.
