A. Interested general contractors are invited to submit sealed bids to the Owner for the Todd County Justice Center in Long Prairie, MN before 10 a.m. local time on the 22nd day of November, 2022 when the bids will be opened publicly in court room. Address sealed bids to: Denise Gaida - Auditor/Treasurer, 215 1st Ave. S. Suite 201, Long Prairie, Minnesota  56347. Note the name of the project on the outside of the bid envelope.

B. Bids will be received as General Contract bids. Non-qualified bids will not be accepted.

C. Project Description: Project consists of removing and replacing all rooftop mechanical units and installing a new mechanical control system. The project also consists of removing and replacing the existing ballasted roof system with a new fully adhered roofing system.

E. Qualified Bidders must be licenced contractors in the State of Minnesota and shall have all licenses and shall obtain all permits required by the: location of project. Bidders will be required to provide a Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the Bid Amount. Cash or a certified check in the amount of no less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount is also acceptable.

F. Bids must be held for a period of 45 days after submission. Work is scheduled to begin on December 23, 2022. Substantial Completion date is 100 work days after the delivery of the rooftop units. The agreement for the work will be written on AIA Document A101 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor where the basis of payment is a stipulated sum.

G. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.

H. A manditory walk through of the project is scheduled for Wednesday November 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
