NOTICE AND ORDER OF HEARING ON PETITION FOR FORMAL ADJUDICATION OF INTESTACY, DETERMINATION OF HEIRSHIP, APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS
It is Ordered and Notice is given that on September 30, 2024, at 10:14 am, an administrative non-appearance hearing will be held in this Court at 221 1st Avenue South, Long Prairie, Minnesota, for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of heirship of the Decedent, and for the appointment of Cheryl L. Grenz, whose address is 10738 102nd Ave. N., Maple Grove, MN, 55369 as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an UNSUPERVISED administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate, including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

CITY OF STAPLES
ORDINANCE NO. 550
AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND SECTION 18-1 AND 18-9
OF THE CITY CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STAPLES ORDAINS:
SECTION 1: Section 18-1(b)(3) is hereby amended as follows:
(3) Such written notice shall be served upon the owner, lessee and occupant of the premises and shall be served either personally, by certified mail or posting.
a. Posting may be utilized when service has been attempted at least twice on different days, with at least one of the attempts having been made between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Posting is completed on the second attempt by posting the notice in a conspicuous place on the property.
SECTION 2: Section 18-9(d) is hereby amended as follows:
(d) When the owner and occupant permit a weed or grass nuisance to exist, the city inspector or designated representative shall serve notice upon the owner of the property, if he resides in the city and can be found therein, or upon the occupant or other person in charge of the property in other cases, by registered mail or by personal service, ordering such owner, occupant or person in charge of the property to have such weeds or grass removed within five days after receipt of the notice, stating that, in case of noncompliance, such work will be performed by the city or its agents and the cost thereof made a special assessment against the property concerned. When no owner or occupant can be found, notice shall be served by posting the notice as provided for in Section 18-1(b)(3)(a).
SECTION 3: Effective Date. The ordinance becomes effective from and after its passage and publication.
