Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. the Todd County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Commissioners Meeting Room, 215 First Ave. South, Long Prairie to consider the following applications.

Conditional Use Permit request:
Notice is hereby given per Minnesota statutes, Chapter 116, that Tri-County Feeders has made application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the County Of Todd for a permit to operate and expand a feedlot with a capacity of 500 animal units or more.
The existing feedlot is located in the NW qtr , Sect. 1, Burleene Twp, Todd County, MN. The existing facility consists of 990 head of beef feeders equating to 693 animal units, partial confinement buildings, open lots, and earthen manure pit. The proposed facility will consist of no more than 999 head of stock or feeder cattle, partial confinement barns, open lots, and an expanded manure basin (s). The total animal unit capacity will not exceed 999 animal units.
This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each real owner of property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
