Girls posting good golf scores

The Staples Motley girls golf team is still with only three varsity players, so they do not have a team score to compare their meets, but they are posting good scores and finishing high in some competitive meets.
On May 5. Olivia Klefsaas was 13th at the Wadena-Deer Creek Invitational, with a score of 89. Alix Peterson shot 107 in that meet to place 42nd.
On May 7, Klefsaas was the only Cardinal to play at the Geneva Invite in Alexandria, placing 11th against some big schools with a round of 92.
On May 9, Klefsaas finished second at the pre-section tournament at Blackberry Ridge in Sartell, with a sizzling round of 82. Hailey Koenig was seventh with 93 and Peterson 30th with 110.
